Sutykine 25mg Capsule consists of the active ingredient Sunitinib. It is prescribed for patients with kidney cancer and stomach cancer that has started to spread to other tissues. This medication is preferred for patients who have not responded adequately to other chemotherapy treatments and cancer therapies like Imatinib therapy and cytokine therapy. Side effects include hypertension, rashes, diarrhoea, weakness, bleeding, protein in urine, hypothyroidism, neutropenia etc.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems or bleeding disorder. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.
